Q&A

How do I register for the course?

The Coordinator to Recruiter course only runs once or twice a year. We design it this way to ensure we have full cohorts for collaboration and a community as the course is 100% online. You can sign up to be notified for the next cohort here.

How long is the course?

The course is 6 weeks (Boolean+ is 5 weeks). The course content is drip delivered. Each weekly unit will be delivered on the same day of the week.

The total course content amounts to around 15 hours. The course is intended to be very manageable, between 2-4 hours per week if you complete it in 6 weeks (or 1-2 Netflix movies a week in length).

Is there an expiration date for the course?

Yes - The course material will expire after course completion. However, there’s a TON of course material you get to take with you - download and keep!

Packages that include Coaching Sessions are intended to be in tandem with course content. Therefore, those coaching sessions expire 6 months after purchase.

Are there any tests?

Yes… Each Boolean Lesson has a small test. You must pass the Boolean Test in order to receive the Boolean Certification.

What about certifications?

Once you pass the Boolean tests, you’ll receive your Boolean Certification from Master Your Craft. For those registered in the Time to Fulfill and Purple Squirrel courses, you’ll receive a second certification from Master Your Craft once all lessons are completed! You can add these certifications to your Linkedin and Resume!

Is there a money back guarantee?

Absolutely! There’s a TON of value in the content curation. If you purchase any of the three Coordinator to Recruiter course options and you aren’t satisfied with the content during the first week of lessons, you’ll receive a 100% refund on your purchase. Once the second week of lessons is delivered/dropped to your dashboard, no refunds will be issued. We’re pretty confident you’ll find a TON of value in the course. Please reach out if you have any concerns as unhappy students don’t make us happy.

Can my employer pay for this course?

I’ve had students pay for the course in many ways. Payment plans are an option, and sometimes your employer’s Learning and Development Budget can be an option. Even if your employer doesn’t have a stated amount for L&D outlined in your benefits, they likely have some allocated for employees who ask (not always but often). There’s no risk in asking!

As an experienced HR Leader, I promise, nothing bad will happen to you if you kindly and graciously ask your employer if if they may sponsor your L&D. In fact, even asking showcases your eagerness to grow within their organization. Always be prepared for a no…and a yes!

Feel free to reach out through the contact page if you’re interested and need to arrange one of the 9 month payment plans outlined above OR if you need a little support in asking your leadership for L&D budget support and you’re looking for tips on how to do this.

Remind me again why I’m making this investment?

Promoting early will increase your lifetime earnings. If you promote to a Recruiter role 2 years sooner by learning skills sooner than an employer may invest in the teachings, you could increase your salary 10k-30k. That’s potentially 60k more in lifetime earnings, plus you’ll be on track for your next promotion 2 years sooner as well!

AND learning more recruitment skills provides for more job security and the ability for you to take different types of roles within the talent field… More recruiting skills equates to roles like Recruiter, Sourcer, Talent Operations…as well as Coordinator. This course is an investment in YOU!

What if I have questions throughout the course?

Everyone has access to my Slack Community (and I mean everyone!) and course attendees and students can and should feel free and open to collaborate with each other and ask the course host and teacher questions at any-time. Questions are typically answered within 1-2 hours, with the exception of down time like nights and weekends (where questions are still often answered but response time may be slower).
