My dedicated routine took my skin from reactive to resilient.

I’ve had acne since the 4th grade. I tried every product. Every recommendation. Finally, in 2020, with additional time on my hands, I decided to go on a skincare journey to figure out the right combination for my combination skin. I finally found the routine that shifted my skin from severely inflamed acne to almost completely clear. View my favorite products below, and book a consultation call with me for more details.

Let’s show you the glow!

Magic Molecule

I spray Magic Molecule on my face, neck, and upper back after every shower! It’s great for acne-prone skin because it helps calm inflammation, reduce redness, and it supports a healthy skin barrier. Its gentle, non-irritating formula balances the skin’s microbiome, which can help prevent breakouts without over-drying or clogging pores. If you’re going to trust me on only one thing, it’s Magic Molecule!

Face Lasers

IPL and Clear + Brilliant face laser treatments have been my ultimate skin MVPs. After five years of consistent treatments every 4-6 months, they’ve done more for my acne than any product… ever! They also faded spots, smoothed texture, shrunk pores, and boosted collagen. The clear skin and anti-aging benefits are truly unmatched in my skincare journey. You can find your local face laser facility and get your first treatment below!

Retinol

Prescription services like Curology or doctor-prescribed Retin-A are highly recommended for acne-prone, aging skin because they use tretinoin, the most effective form of vitamin A, to treat breakouts and fine lines simultaneously. If prescriptions aren’t accessible, more economical, less potent retinol options from Drunk Elephant, Paula’s Choice, or The Ordinary can still offer some of these Retinol benefits.

PTR Peeling Gel

Peter Thomas Roth FirmX Peeling Gel has been a staple in my routine for 12 years. Seriously, I’ve never gone without it, and I use it every morning! After discovering an expensive boutique peel, I went on a search for an alternative that was better-priced, and this was it. It visibly lifts away dead skin. Literally, you can see gross beads of skin roll off. It smooths texture, clears pores, and instantly brightens, helping both acne and signs of aging without harsh irritation.

Vitamins

Vitamins support acne-prone and aging skin by reducing inflammation, promoting collagen production, and strengthening the skin barrier. Ritual vitamins include A, C, D3, zinc, and vegan omega-3s for clearer, healthier skin. Adding Ritual HyaCera, with hyaluronic acid and ceramides, boosts hydration and visible anti-aging benefits—an absolute must-add to your Ritual cart, especially in the dry Winter months!

PanOxyl

PanOxyl 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Wash has been a dermatologist-recommended staple in my routine for over 10 years—and for good reason. It works by killing acne-causing bacteria deep in the pores, helping prevent breakouts before they even start. I use it every shower on my face, neck, chest, shoulders, and upper back, and somehow a 5.5 oz bottle still lasts me months. It’s affordable, powerful, not flashy, and Ulta often runs deals—truly one of those “don’t mess with what works” products in my acne journey.
